This site is operated by ASTEC Publishing, which is the data controller for personal data collected through it. That means we decide how and why that data is used.

Every PDF tool runs inside your browser. Files you select are never uploaded to us, never stored, and are discarded when you close or reload the page.

• Order details (name, email, order and transaction reference) — to deliver your template downloads and provide support. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
• Support messages (your name, email and message) — to answer your enquiry. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
• Usage and device data (pages viewed, tools used, browser type, device identifiers, IP address, approximate location) — to run, secure and improve the site and prevent fraud. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
• Advertising cookies — to show ads that fund the free tools. Legal basis: consent, where required.

• Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record, for the sale of products, subscription management, payments, tax compliance and invoicing. Paddle handles your payment details under its own privacy notice.
• Service providers who host the site and store files, and advertising/analytics partners such as Google.
• Professional advisers such as lawyers and accountants.
• Authorities, where required by law.

Some providers may process data outside the UK/EEA. Where they do, we rely on adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses to protect it.

Order records are kept as long as needed for delivery, support and legal and tax obligations (typically up to 6 years). Support messages are kept for up to 2 years. Data is then deleted or anonymised.

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encrypted connections, private file storage, time-limited download links and restricted access.

We use essential cookies to run the site, and advertising and analytics cookies only where you consent. You can change your choice at any time; see our cookie policy.

Under UK GDPR you can ask to access, correct, erase, restrict or port your data, object to processing, and withdraw consent at any time. We will respond within one month. Contact us via our contact page. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).

The site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
