Frequently asked questions

How are columns detected?: Rows are rebuilt from the text positions in the PDF, and wide gaps between values are treated as column breaks. Clean, grid-like tables convert best.
Does it work with scanned PDFs?: Not yet — scanned pages are images and need OCR, which is on our roadmap.
